The collection of negatives and slides in the society’s possession has been obtained to enable them to reach a wider audience; to this end there are six catalogues available dealing with the various collections. The collection of Ian Scrimgeour has been split into three catalogues due to its size.
The collections are catalogued as follows: - No.1, Ian Scrimgeour, England & Wales No.2, Ian Scrimgeour, Scotland No.3, Ken Booth, UK No.4, Colin Betts, UK No.5, Ian Scrimgeour, Foreign (including Northern Ireland) No.6, John Howard-Turner, UK
The Ken Booth collection is composed of colour slides, the others being black & white negatives. Please see the IMPORTANT NOTICE above.
A ‘List of locations’ is available to members and this details which catalogue a certain signal box may be found in; as several boxes have more than one photo or slide of them this list should not be used for ordering prints, the catalogue(s) should be used instead. If any person needs a location list it is available HERE in PDF format, or may be obtained in printed form from the Photographic Agent in return for a SSAE of at least A5 size.
The catalogues list in alphabetical order the signal boxes and give the numbers that are used to order the prints. The catalogues are available from the Photographic Agent priced £2 each (inc. p &p) or all six at £10.50 (inc. p & p). If ordering from outside the UK, please add £2.50 postage per catalogue order and send payment by International Money Order (IMO) drawn in pounds Sterling (£).
The Society is always willing to consider the publication of these photographs on payment of a fee and enquiries should be addressed to the Photographic Agent, John McCrickard, by email to photos or by post to: SRS Photographic Agent, 10 Swallow Court, St Neots, CAMBS,PE19 1NP
